Simultaneous Interpreting

Teams of two interpreters translate the speaker alternating every half an hour. The booth is soundproof and has a direct view of the room. The interpreter hears the speaker through headphones and translates in real time on to a microphone connected to the earphones being used by the public.

Consecutive Interpreting

Next to the speaker the interpreter listens, takes down notes and translates the segment of speech immediately after the speaker has finished. This modality does not require any equipment and doubles the time of the event given the constant pauses.

Interpreting with portable equipment

EIC has portable simultaneous equipment, light and easy to handle. It does not require a booth or technician. It is recommended for technical visits , press conferences and short , small meetings.
