About the Interpreter

Paula Ianelli discovered her passion for communication, literature, and languages early in life and decided to turn these interests into her profession. At just 17, she began her Bachelor’s Degree in Translation at Unesp, marking the start of a distinguished career in written translation and game localization. However, it was in the darkness of the interpreting booth that Paula truly found her calling after graduating in Conference Interpreting from PUC-SP.

Since then, Paula has interpreted for a wide range of speakers across both public and private sectors, gaining extensive experience in events covering politics, economics, finance, human rights, climate change, business, marketing, technology, video games, and geek culture, among other areas.

Her career has given her the opportunity to work on projects with thousands of listeners and live broadcasts reaching audiences around the globe. She has represented notable personalities and celebrities, including Kamala Harris, Al Gore, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Michel Temer, Marina Silva, Henrique Meirelles, Fernando Haddad, Luiza Trajano, Sandra Bullock, Will Smith, Keanu Reeves, Gal Gadot, Margot Robbie, and many others.

Today, Paula splits her time between São Paulo and New York, where she helps clients achieve their goals through accurate and engaging multilingual communication. She works both at major international organizations like the UN and OECD and in online sessions from her remote simultaneous interpretation studio.
